A success depite of the rain
After a very sunny weekend, the weather forecast announced bad weather for the Wine Fest in Euskirchen 2012.
But the people of Euskirchen and many visitors from the surrounding area wasn’t to be held back by bad weather, so the Wine Party was a huge success. On Friday the weather was unstable, but thanks for the beautiful stands of the winemakers there you could get out of the rain a bit and make it through the rain showers, so the guests could take shelter and enjoy the wine and the music program. Contrary to the weather forecast, we had the best weather on Saturday. The audience celebrated, folks were in a good mood and high spirit till late at night. Maybe the reason why the event wasn’t well attended on Sunday? No, I do believe bad weather was at fault that day.
I will certainly be a part of it again next year when they open the gates to the Wine Fest in Euskirchen.
